A car named Osteoblast!

Osteoblast
Def: (from the Greek combination for "bone", ὀστέο-, osteo-, sanskrit ãsthi and βλαστάνω, blastanō "germinate") are cells with single nuclei that synthesize bone. In layman terms it simply means a cell which is responsible for helping the bones reunite after they're broken or fractured.

But to me it also means an Osteo (orthopaedic surgeon/orthopod), is driving his car and listening to loud music, and having a Blast!
It all started when I was doing my orthopaedic residency in Pune. After a tiring week, me and my orthopod colleagues would spend the weekends driving my car in and around the city and listening to very loud music. Of all the things that I can vouch for, this one act I'm sure was a stress reliever on so many levels. This technique came to be known as having a blast by us and other colleagues, and being Orthopods it was proclaimed Osteos having a blast or Osteoblast!
For some reason the name stuck around. To make it official, I even baptised my car by putting a customised 'Osteoblast' sticker on the rear shield. I thought it was pretty amusing. Ever since it has always remained there, on each and every car I've owned. A constant reminder of my days from past, of my orthopaedic glory and good time spent with friends. From where I see it, the days haven't passed me by and the blast is still active. And I hope it remains active till the end. You'll see it on the roads, grooving to the beats aloud.
So next time you see a car with Osteoblast written behind and playing good sound, dont forget to wave! For I've realised..You're the music while the music lasts (T.S Eliot)
